Dr. Ketney Otto is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Food Industry and Environmental Protection, “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu, Romania. He has a multidisciplinary academic background in food engineering, industrial engineering, information technology, and applied data science. His research focuses on food safety and quality, environmental sustainability of food production systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in food science, dairy science, contaminant monitoring, and quantitative modelling of agricultural and food systems. His current work integrates data-driven methods, statistical modelling, and computational approaches to address challenges related to sustainable food production, food safety, process optimisation, and environmental impact assessment. He is actively involved in university teaching, scientific research, and interdisciplinary projects at the interface of food science, engineering, environmental sustainability, and artificial intelligence.
