Komlavi has professional experience in the fields of spatial analysis, machine learning, and hydrological modeling. He is currently contributing to the scientific development of water accounting and its application in water resources assessment and allocation across multiple spatial scales, in order to gain an improved understanding of the availability and use of water resources in Africa. He is leveraging state-of-the-art remote sensing approaches and data management technologies to generate timely and quality information to understand water availability and use, water risks, and water values. His aim is to enhance the ability of African governments, communities, and companies to better manage their water resources.
