Dr. Kow-Tong Chen, Professor of Public Health at College of Medicine in National Cheng Kung University. He has been the Chairman and Board Member for the Society of Occupational Disease, Taiwan. He also sits on the Board of the Society of AIDS and the Society of Epidemiology, Taiwan, and is a member of the Professional section of the Family Doctor Association, Taiwan. His research interests have focus mostly in the field of infectious diseases-related health effects, specifically, on the disease burden and intervention strategies of infectious diseases. To date, he has co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and published in numerous leading journals, including the Emerging Infectious Diseases, Pediatrics, International Journal Of Environmental Research and Public Health, and the New England Journal of Medicine. .
