My research focuses on the chemistry, biology, and ecological roles of plant-derived metabolites, with a particular emphasis on phytochemistry, ethnobotany, plant biotechnology, horticulture and environmental science. I am especially interested in understanding how biotic and abiotic factors influence the production, diversity, and functional properties of secondary metabolites in medicinal and culturally important plant species.
