Maria Antonia got her degree in Pharmacy from the Central University of Venezuela and then get the convalidation to Spanish degree.
Later in 2010, she continued her studies at the Pharmacy school of the University of Valencia, where she got her Pharmaceutical Care in the Situation of Dependency master. In 2011 she got an official master of Science Technologies and Rational Drug Use. (School of Pharmacy- Seville University). Finally, in 2012 she obtained her third master in Food Safety from the School of Pharmacy of the University of Seville.
She obtained her Ph.D. degree in 2018. At present, she takes part in several reviewer's staff. Additionally, she takes part in the Editorial Board of Antibiotics and MDPI journal.
From 2011 until now she works at the University of Seville and develops her research activity in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science. During this time, she has performed a researcher stay in the Fondazione Edmund Mach (Trento-Italy) where she works in metabolomics with LC-Ms techniques to complete her Ph.D. studies.
