Prof. Dr. Samantha Cruz-Sotelo

Samantha E. Cruz-Sotelo, Ph.D. in engineering, is a professor and researcher at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). Mexico. She completed her doctorate in 2013. Member of the Mexican National Researcher System, in her country. She is a founding member of the Mexican Society of Science and Applied Technology Solid Waste and a member of the Iberoamerican Network of Engineering in Environmental Sanitation. She has published manuscripts in journals, books, and book chapters and participated as a guest editor of special issues in international journals. Her research interests are in the areas of Life Cycle Assessment, Circular Economy, Sustainable manufacturing, Electronic Waste Management, Sustainable Supply Chain Management, waste pickers and microplastics
