Sara Saeedi has been a postdoctoral fellow and assistant director at the GeoSensorWeb Lab, University of Calgary since 2015. She has been a Member of the OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium) Architecture Board since Jan 2020. She received her Ph.D. from the Multi Mobile Sensor System Research Team, University of Calgary in positioning, navigation and wireless location on smartphones. She has her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Geomatics and Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran. Her interests are primarily in the field of internet of things, multi-sensor systems, and intelligent geospatial computation in context-aware location-based services.
