Dr.S. S. Syed Abuthahir awarded Ph. D in Chemistry in the year of 2015 from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Working as Assistant Professor (Aided) in PG and Research Department of Chemistry at Jamal Mohamed College (Autonomous), Trichy. He has guided Seven M. Phil scholars and three Ph. D Scholars. At presently guiding four Ph. D Scholars. He has fifteen years of experience in teaching chemistry for UG and PG courses and 16 years of experience in research. He has Published 72 research papers in national and international Journals. Published 14 research articles in conference proceedings. Attended 137 conferences across the Nation including conferences, workshops, seminars and faculty development programmes. Serving as Reviewer for 10 journals and Editorial member for 04 Chemistry Journals. Served as Departmental DBT Coordinator from June 2020 to July 2023 for three years. Severed as resource person and delivered a 25 invited talks in various colleges with in India and one invited talk in china. Received Seed money grant from JIIC, Jamal Mohamed College. Published one book chapter entitled health and hygiene in moral education book and other three book chapters in Edited books. Filled one copy right and one patent in India. Received Received Best Junior Researcher Award in Science Faculty for the Academic year 2022-2023. Received Best Teacher Award jointly presented by Jamal Mohamed College, Kanmalai Trust and CADD Centre for the Academic year 2023-2024.
