BSc in Nutrition, MSc in Human Nutrition, and PhD in Biological Sciences, focusing on the study of the nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics of chronic noncommunicable diseases. He is recognized by the National System of Researchers at Level 1 (SNI-1 for its acronym in Spanish) and is currently a professor/researcher at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Autonomous University of Querétaro.
