I have an interest in health promotion. My research so far has been to explore health related quality of life in young people with chronic fatigue syndrome, and factors related to school attendance. I have also explored school personnel and school nurses experiences with educational adaptations for young people with chronic fatigue syndrome. Further, I have explored experiences among health care personnel with General Movement Assessment to assess risk of cerebral palsy in infants. I have also in process an article based on data from focus group interviews with migrating nurses about their experiences from working in Norwegian health care before and during supplementary education in nursing to receive approval to work as nurses in Norway. Finally, I am engaged with supervising of master students projects in school health services and public health, and also planning projects for own research in this field.
