Yu-Hsiu Lin received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from the Graduate Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2014. Since February of 2021, he has been with the Graduate Institute of Automation Technology, National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei City, Taiwan, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. To his work and research experience, from October of 2014 to August of 2017, he worked for Smart Network System Institute at Institute for Information Industry (III) in Taiwan, and served as a full-time Senior Engineer. From September of 2017 to July of 2018, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Information Management, Providence University, Taichung City, Taiwan. From August of 2018 to July of 2019, he was also an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Tainan City, Taiwan. Besides, from August of 2019 to January of 2021, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Ming Chi University of Technology, New Taipei City, Taiwan. His current research interests include IoT technologies, Fog-/Edge-Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning/Computational Intelligence in Smart Grid.
