I have received my Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology from the University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. After completing his Ph.D., he joined the Laboratory of Cancer Research MAKNA-UPM, Institute of Bioscience, University of Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, to study the mechanism of action of anticancer drug extracts from natural products and the genotoxic effects of drug extracts using cytogenetics end points (2006-2009).
Teaching Experience: More than 22-years of experience in teaching Biochemistry, Clinical Chemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Nutritional Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, in Medical schools and graduate programs.
I’ve published over 65+ papers mostly in a reputable journal and an international Patents in WIPO, EPO, USPO, Japan Patent Office and Australian Patent Office, attended and participated in more than 50 training courses and workshops
I've a total H index of 24 according to Google scholar. Most of my research focused on natural products including the anticancer effects of natural products and the genotoxicity assessment in vitro and in vivo.
Research Experience: 15+years including 3+years in Malaysia as post-Doc. Main research areas are Cancer research, mechanism of anticancer drug action, anticancer drug discovery from natural products, Genotoxicity, Cytogenetics and Antioxidants.
