Anthony Mandow  received M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in computer systems from Universidad de Málaga (UMA), Málaga, Spain, in 1992 and 1998, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation, UMA, and a member of the UMA Group for Robotics and Mechatronics. He has co-authored more than 100 conference and journal papers and has been engaged as Principal Investigator in research projects related to field and disaster robotics, multi-robot systems, terrain modeling for navigation, artificial intelligence for cyber-physical systems, and innovative practices in higher education. Since 2016, he has been Academic Coordinator of the UMA Doctoral Program in Mechatronics Engineering. Since 2021, he has served as the Director of the Institute for Mechatronics Engineering and Cyber-Physical Systems, Universidad de Málaga (IMECH.UMA).
