Dr. Anastasios Giannopoulos currently serves as a researcher at NTUA and National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece. He is an Electrical and Computer Engineer, who graduated from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece. His PhD studies were related to the Electroencephalographic Signal Processing for Evaluating Cognitive Brain Processes. His research activities are spread between the fields of Intelligent Communication Systems and Brain Neuroimaging. He has worked on topics related to Resource Management, Machine Learning-assisted Systems, Deep Reinforcement Learning-driven Decision-Making, Maritime Communications, Electroenceplalography (EEG), and Brain Signal Processing with advanced statistics. His current work mainly focuses on configuring intelligent communication systems and a better understanding of how the brain works.
