Antônio Eduardo Miller Crotti studied Chemistry at the University of Franca and received his M.Sc. (2001) and Ph.D. (2005) from the University of São Paulo. He obtained a Post-Doctorate in Organic Synthesis (2012) at the Department of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Victoria, Canada. He is now an Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo. His research focuses on biologically active synthetic and natural products and on the application of mass spectrometry in the structural elucidation of organic compounds, gas-phase fragmentation reactions, and investigation of reaction mechanisms.
