Prof.Dr.rer.nat. Arli Aditya Parikesit, S.Si., M.Si. is the Professor of Bioinformatics Department at i3L. He finished his bachelor’s and master’s studies both in the Chemistry Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences, University of Indonesia. His master’s degree was streamed in Biotechnology. In order to pursue the degree in Bioinformatics, he was awarded the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) fellow to conduct doctorate research at Bioinformatics Group, Faculty of Informatics and Mathematics, University of Leipzig, Germany. His doctoral research is focused on the utilization of modern protein domain annotation techniques to the three domains of life. In addition, Dr. Arli is also an expert on immunoinformatic, in silico drug design, and in silico transcriptomics. His interests now extend into the domain of artificial intelligence as well.
