Dr. Ayça Eroğlu Haktanır is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Karadeniz Technical University in 2006, completed her residency in internal medicine at Uludağ University in 2012, and finalized her gastroenterology subspecialty training at Kocaeli University in 2022. Dr. Haktanır has broad clinical and academic experience, having served in various public hospitals and academic institutions across Turkey. Her professional background includes roles in internal medicine and nephrology, followed by specialization in gastroenterology. She has authored numerous national and international publications, presented at scientific meetings, and contributed to medical book chapters. In addition to general gastroenterology, her clinical and research interests focus particularly on esophageal motility disorders and 24-hour pH impedance monitoring.
