Dr. Aziz is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan. He received his B.Eng., M.Eng., and D.Eng. from Kyushu University, Japan, in 2004, 2006, and 2008, respectively, in the field of mechanical engineering. His general research areas are advanced energy systems, with research interests including power generation, renewable energy utilization, process modeling, smart grids, electric vehicles, batteries, and hydrogen production and utilization.
