Dr. Michael Czaplik is a professor at the RWTH Aachen University Hospital. His research focuses on the areas of telemedicine, interoperability, and innovative biomedical sensoring. Dr. Czaplik graduated from medical school in 2005, received his medical doctorate in 2008 and a science doctorate in 2017. In 2020 he was appointet as professor at RWTH Aachen University. He is currently the director of the Acute Care Innovation Hub, a research group within the Department of Anesthesiology.
