Evren Yalaz holds a PhD in Political Science from Rutgers University and is a Senior Research Analyst at Trilateral Research. Her work focuses on AI ethics, research ethics, research design and methods, and the societal impacts of emerging technologies. She has contributed to multiple EU-funded research and innovation projects, with particular expertise in responsible AI, ethical risk assessment, co-creation, and the development of practical approaches to addressing ethical and social challenges in technology-driven research. Her research interests centre on understanding and assessing the social impact of AI and strengthening responsible, inclusive, and ethically informed research and innovation practices.
