Biography

My research and academic interests focus on innovation and evidence-based practice in nursing and health services, emphasizing the integration of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in clinical decision-making, education, and primary health care. I investigate strategies to strengthen health systems through digital health technologies, interprofessional education, and capacity building for integrated and equitable care. My work contributes to the advancement of nursing science and health service delivery models aligned with universal health coverage and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in collaboration with international networks such as the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
