ANSELMO FRIZERA received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), Vitória, Brazil, in 2006, and a Ph.D. degree in electronics from the Universidad de Alcalá, Spain, in 2010. From 2006 to 2010, he was a Researcher with the Bioengineering Group, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Since 2010, he has been a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UFES, working as a Permanent Lecturer in the Graduate Programs in Electrical Engineering—PPGEE (since 2011) and in Information Technology—PPGI (since 2024). His research interests and areas of activity are rehabilitation robotics, optical and electronic sensors for industrial and biomedical applications, biomedical signal processing, and assistive technologies.
