Director of Research at the Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute of CERTH (CPERI/CERTH) and Scientific Director in CPERI’s branches (Athens and Ptolemaida). He is a key stakeholder in CERTH’s spin-off company “Clean Energy Ltd”. He is responsible for the supervision of more than 106 R&D projects funded by the EU and other national and international industries (total budget exceeds EUR 17.2 million). He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy exploitation and environmental performance of hydrocarbon fuels, biomass and waste-derived fuels, advanced energy systems and process modelling, and energy efficiency in central heating systems and industrial installations.
