Aiming at the problems of pollution and waste in the clothing industry, the concept of the green innovation of clothing brands is put forward here and analyzed in terms of five dimensions: green product innovation, green technology innovation, green image innovation, green service innovation, and marketing green innovation. Based on the theory of perceived value, in this study we analyzed the mechanism of clothing brand green innovation with regard to consumers’ purchase intention and, on this basis, investigated the mediating role of perceived value and the moderating role of consumer innovation. Simultaneously, we designed a measurement scale for clothing brand green innovation and used the structural equation model to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that clothing brand green innovation can effectively promote green purchase intention and behavior, that consumers produce purchase intention and behavior through the perception of novelty, usefulness, and greenness, and that highly innovative consumers are more likely to perceive novelty and are more willing to buy. This study provides new ideas and references for clothing brand green innovation.

Understanding the performance and behavior of garment leathers provides valuable inputs for the design and production of leather garments. The drape is one of the important properties associated with garment fitness quality and appeal. This study aims to show how the independent variables flexural rigidity and thickness affect the dependent variable drapability. Nowadays, studies on the drape of garment leathers are scarce. In this work, the drape coefficient (DC) was measured for sheep garment leather, which influences the garment drapability, such as flexural rigidity in the range of 9.2 to 22 and thickness in the range of 0.64 to 0.96. The average DC was calculated in the range of 47.35 to 69.9% for the selected sheep leathers from four samples. The drapability of the garment leather was determined using the DC. Flexural rigidity and thickness have been shown to have a considerable influence on the DC, while they do bear a significant relationship to the DC. The results of this study can be used as an elementary tool for leather selection of appropriate materials for garments.

This research investigated the innovative synthesis achieved through blending five distinct fibres (Polyacrylonitrile (PAN), Polyester (PET), Polylactic acid (PLA), Polypropylene (PP), and Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)) in the production of needle-punched nonwoven fabrics tailored for air filtration applications. The study investigated the effects of needle-punched nonwovens made with up to five fibres on the physical and mechanical properties, addressing a gap in existing literature. The method involved manual and machine opening, blending, and carding of fibre s, followed by producing three samples with different web arrangements (cross laid web, parallel laid web, and pre needled parallel lad web). The study employed standard test methods to characterize physical and mechanical properties. Results indicated that web arrangement and pre-needling significantly influenced various properties, with cross and parallel-laid web arrangements having minimal impact on thickness and bursting stretch. The parallel arrangement, whether pre-needled or not, showed no significant effect on GSM, fabric density, bursting strength, tear strength, abrasion resistance, and filtration efficiency. The highest abrasion resistance, lower pressure drop, highest fabric stiffness, moderate tensile strength, and higher bursting strength were observed in a cross-web arrangement. This study contributed valuable insights into the intricate interplay of fibre composition, web arrangement, and pre-needling in the design of advanced needle-punched nonwoven fabrics for air filtration. The findings provided a nuanced understanding of how these factors collectively impact the mechanical and physical characteristics of the material, paving the way for enhanced efficiency, durability, and versatility in air filtration applications.
