Prof. Dr. Yi Han is an associate professor at the School of Information Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology. He received his bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Wuhan University in 2010, his master’s degree from Dublin City University in 2011, and his doctorate from University College Dublin in 2016. His research interests include intelligent information perception, network communication, virtual/augmented reality, and intelligent manufacturing. He has led and served as a technical core member in multiple vertical projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, major MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) projects, and the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has undertaken numerous corporate-sponsored projects across various domains including automotive manufacturing, smart ships, meteorological environmental monitoring, and human–computer interaction with a cumulative project value exceeding tens of millions of yuan. He has published more than 50 academic papers in important academic journals and international conferences and obtained five invention patents. He is a member of the Hubei Communications Association and serves as a reviewer for international journals such as IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting.
