Prof. Dr. Shuai Cao

Prof. Dr. Shuai Cao is a Professor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He studied at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a visiting scholar from September 2019 to April 2020. He received his Ph.D. in July 2017 and M.E. in January 2015 in Mining Engineering from the University of Science and Technology. His main research interests are deep mining engineering and cemented tailing backfilling mechanics. He has published more than 30 journal articles including the International Journal of Mining Science and Technology, the Journal of China University of Mining and Technology, Rock and Soil Mechanics, and the Journal of Northeastern University (Natural Science Edition) as a first author and correspondent author. He also served as a journal reviewer for Geotechnical and Geological Engineering, the Journal of Central South University (Journal of Natural Science), and the Journal of Central South University.
