Prof. Dr. João Santos Baptista is an Associate Professor at the Mining Department, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, where he obtained his PhD. He is also a Director of the Master's Program in Occupational Safety and Hygiene Engineering (2005-2019), a Vice-Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Occupational Safety and Health of the University of Porto, a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Mining and Geo-Resources Engineering, Degree Program in Mining and Geo-Environmental Engineering, and Master's Program in Mining and Geo-Environmental Engineering.
