Mukataeva Zhazira Sagatbekovna, a Kazakh, was born in 1974 in the Karaganda region. After graduating from high school in 1991, she entered the Natural Sciences and Geography Department of the Abai Kazakh Pedagogical Institute. In 1996, she graduated with honors from the Natural Sciences Department of the Abai Almaty State University, specializing in chemistry and biology. From 1997 to 2000, she studied full-time at the postgraduate program in the Chemistry Department of the Abai Kazakh National University. In 2006, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation. From 2001 to 2005, she worked as a senior lecturer in the Physics and Chemistry Department of the M. Tynyshpayev Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications. In 2006, she was accepted to the position of senior lecturer in the Chemistry Department of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. From 2008 to 2019 She worked as Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at the Institute of Natural Science and Geography. From 2020 to the present, she has been working as the Head of the Chemistry Department at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
