Kun Jia is a professor at the State Key Laboratory of Remote
Sensing Science and also the Beijing Engineering Research Center for Global
Land Remote Sensing Products, Faculty of Geographical Science, Beijing Normal
University, Beijing, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Cartography and GIS
from the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences,
Beijing, China. His main research interests include the estimation of
vegetation parameters, land cover classification, and agriculture monitoring
using remote sensing data.
