Jin Wei is currently an Assistant Professor with the School of Integrated Circuits, Peking University. He received the B.S. degree at Sun Yat-sen University, M.S. degree at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), PhD degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). He worked as R&D manager in Innoscience Ltd., focusing on the commercialization of 8-in GaN-on-Si power device technology, following which he worked as Postdoc Fellow and then Research Assistant Professor in HKUST. Then, he joined Peking University. His research interests cover GaN, SiC, and Si power devices and power ICs. He’s also actively exploring ultrawide bandgap semiconductors for various applications. He’s published >200 peer-reviewed papers on journals/conferences like IEDM, VLSI Symp., and IEEE EDL. He is an associate editor for IEEE Electron Device Letters, and Science China Information Science, and a TPC member for IEEE EDTM, IEEE WiPDA, and IEEE ICSICT.
