I am a Professor of Geotechnologies and Pedometrics at the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (UFRA), where I teach and conduct research in soil science, pedometrics, geostatistics, geoprocessing, remote sensing, digital soil mapping and precision agriculture. I hold a degree in Agronomy from UFRA, and a Master’s and a PhD in Agronomy (Soil Science) from São Paulo State University (UNESP). My research focuses on spatial variability of soil attributes, soil erosion assessment, delineation of management zones, applications of geostatistical methods and integration of spatial analysis to support environmental and agricultural decision-making. I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and supervise research that advances the use of geotechnologies to understand and manage soil and landscape processes.
