Dr. Kah Chun Lau received his PhD. degree in Physics from Department of Physics, Michigan Technological University in 2007. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at U.S. Naval Research Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory, and as an Assistant Physicist at Materials Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory. In Fall 2016, he joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy at California State University Northridge as an Assistant Professor, an adjunct Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Michigan Technological University since 2017, and is awarded as Cottrell Scholar by U.S. Research Corporation for Science Advancement in 2020. His research interest include atomistic simulation methods and application in novel functional materials in energy storage and conversion system.
