Prof. Dr. Leonardo Lataro Paim received a master’s degree in
Materials Science in 2007, and obtained his doctorate in Chemistry in 2011,
both from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho.
Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Universidade Estadual Paulista
Júlio de Mesquita Filho. He has experience in the field of chemistry, with an
emphasis on bioenergy, mainly in the following topics: fuels and biofuels,
gasoline, natural gas, second-generation ethanol, biodiesel, ethanol, biomass
characterization methods, analysis of biofuels, and electroanalytical methods.
