Dr. Luiz Kulay is an Associate Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo in Brazil. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the same university in 2004 and completed post-doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra in Portugal from 2014 to 2016. Dr. Kulay’s research interests primarily include life cycle assessment, cleaner production, industrial ecology, environmental optimization, energy recovery, and circularity.
