Mario Alberto García-Ramírez is an Associate Professor at the Electro-Photonic Department at the Universty Centre for Applied Science and Engineering (CUCEI), Universidad de Guadalajara. He completed his Ph.D. studies in nano-electronics at the University of Southampton in the UK and has been awarded several scholarships for research studies. He is a senior at the IEEE. He recently led projects in 2D material synthesis, biosensors and non-volatile memories. He has published well over 50 papers in various journals and serves as a reviewer for MDPI, IOP, IAP, Springer and Elsevier. His teaching disciplines include semiconductors, electromagnetic theory, electronic devices, and his interests include numerical analysis, 2D materials, material synthesis, etc.
