Manuel Ayala-Chauvin is currently working as a researcher at the Centro de Investigación en Ciencias Humanas y Educación of the Universidad Indoamérica in Ambato. He received his degree in electromechanical engineering (2006) from Universidad Nacional de Loja, his master’s degree in mechanical engineering and industrial equipment (2011), and his Ph.D. in sustainability (2018) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain. His fields of research are related to the development of systems for the generation and management of energy.
