T. E. Müller is the chair of Carbon Sources and Conversion (CSC) at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. CSC develops and verifies concepts for the sustainable use of carbon. The focus is on exploiting carbon from renewable sources, developing process technologies for conversion of carbon sources to industrial products, and researching the essentials of anthropogenic carbon cycles. The aim is to demonstrate ecologically beneficial and economically viable conversion technologies for readily available raw material sources at the laboratory and pilot scales.
