Dr. Oke Gerke is a professor of clinical biostatistics in diagnostic research at the Dept. of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark and the biostatistician at the Dept. of Nuclear Medicine, Odense University Hospital. He received his PhD in statistics (2001) and his MSc in mathematics and economics (1998) from the University of Hamburg, Germany. His research interests comprise computational statistics; nonparametric statistics; and the design, analysis, and reporting of diagnostic and prognostic trials in molecular imaging. Current focus areas are method comparison studies, response evaluation with diagnostic imaging, and sequential trial analysis. He is an Editorial Board member and Diagnostics and Guest Editor for the Special Issue “Planning and Evaluating Agreement and Reliability Studies” (https://www.mdpi.com/si/35356), as well as "Editorial Board Members’ Collection Series: Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging" (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/diagnostics/special_issues/3FUN35170Q). Dr. Gerke is a member of the International Biometric Society (IBS), the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB), the Danish Statistical Society (DSTS), and the German Statistical Society (DStatG).
