Dr. Pedro César Santana Mancilla is a full professor at the School of Telematics at the Universidad de Colima in Mexico. He earned his Ph.D. in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Vigo (Spain), a Master's degree in Engineering from the Autonomous University of Baja California (Mexico), and a degree in Telematics Engineering from the Universidad de Colima (Mexico).
His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, intelligent systems and environments, the Internet of Things, smart transportation, and the development of support technologies for older adults and learning.
He is a level 2 member of the National System of Researchers (SNII) of the Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI). He is a member of the Mexican Academy of Computing, where he coordinates the Academic Section on Human-Computer Interaction. Additionally, he serves as the president of the Mexican Association of Human-Computer Interaction and leads the research group "UCOL-CA-118: Intelligent, Interactive, and Accessible Environments" at the School of Telematics.
His scientific work includes publications in books, journals, and conferences nationally and internationally.
