Dr. Rahman Bikas is an Associate Professor of Inorganic Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Imam Khomeini International University, Qazvin, Iran. He received his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Zanjan in 2014. His research focuses on the design, synthesis, structural characterization, and applications of transition-metal coordination compounds and coordination polymers, particularly systems based on hydrazone and related Schiff-base ligands. His work combines single-crystal X-ray diffraction, spectroscopy, magnetic and electrochemical studies, and structural analyses to establish structure–property relationships. He is also active in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, including alcohol oxidation and click-chemistry applications of metal complexes and supported coordination compounds.
