Prof. Dr. Renan Lira de Farias

Renan Lira de Farias currently holds the position of Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His primary areas of expertise are centered on the discovery of metallodrugs and the development of biomaterials. His skill set includes the investigation of binding interactions between small molecules and target biomolecules through molecular docking studies, as well as the application of spectroscopic techniques and structural analysis.
