Samer S. Abed was born and grew up in Iraq. He received his M.S degree in computer science from Mutah University / Jordan and a B.S in computer science from Yarmouk University College / Iraq in 2005. He has been an employee of the Iraqi Ministry of Communications in the Information Technology Department since 2009. His main interests include computer vision, machine learning, pattern recognition, network security, and Data Mining.
