Song-Jeng Huang is a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He received his BS degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan (1992); his MS degree in Aerospace Engineering from Moscow State Aviation Technology University, Russia (1997); and his PhD degree in Dynamics and Strength of Machines, Instruments and Apparatus from MATI-Russian State University of Technology, Russia (2000). He was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 2016 International Conference on Materials Science and Nanotechnology, the 2022 Research Award of NTUST, and honored as a Vebleo Fellow in 2022. He also serves as a member of the Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of the Republic of China. His research interests include Mechanics of Composite Materials, Magnesium Alloys, and Bio-Medical Mechanics.
