I am a PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh, working in Prof. Alexander Star’s research group. My research centers on single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs), with a focus on their separation, functionalization, and applications in biosensing. I am particularly interested in developing new methods for sorting SWCNT enantiomers and tailoring their optical and electronic properties for advanced sensing platforms. My work combines materials chemistry, nanotechnology, and analytical techniques to enable the next generation of carbon nanomaterial-based biosensors.
