Nowadays, 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) telecommunication technology that has spread throughout Indonesia is growing rapidly. However, the coverage of 4G LTE has not been implemented well in Indonesia, one of them is in Sragen. So to be able to increase the quality of 4G LTE network, it is necessary to optimize the coverage area of 4G LTE network in Sragen by using the physical tuning method, which is to adjust the antenna tilt, azimuth antenna, power. Key Performance Indicator is a reference to determine the performance of a network. The measured parameters are reference signal reception power (RSRP), reference signal reception quality (RSRQ), signal interference noise ratio (SINR). The results from the optimization are the percentage of RSRP was initial 45.87% to 75.58%, an increase of 29.72%. While the RSRQ value increased by 20.78%, with an initial value was 27.84% to 48.62%. SINR increased by 5.29% with an initial percentage was 4.87% to 10.16%.

In this digital age, most aspects of life require an electric supply. The availability of electrical power is very critical to maintaining the continuity of the system in various applications. To maintain system continuity, the Energy Monitoring and Control of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) between the Grid and Solar Panel is proposed. The system consists of an Automatic Transfer Switch, Home Solar Power Plant, and Automatic Charging. The function of the monitoring system is to monitor the voltage, current, and power across the device, the operation mode of the ATS, and the State of Charge (SoC) of the battery. The control system is to control the operation mode of ATS according to the energy source selected by the user on the Internet of Things (IoT) interface. The results show that the system can successfully monitor solar panel conditions, AC output, and battery's State of Charge through Blynk IoT. The ATS works automatically with a switching delay of 20ms to 26ms, while on the user's command, the average switching delay is 303.33ms to activate the relay and 185ms to deactivate the relay.

The development of Outcome Based Education (OBE) Information System is done as a solution to academic problems related to the achievement of graduate learning for students. In addition, the OBE system is a form of effort to improve academic quality in order to be able to monitor and measure the development of student learning outcomes in a college study program. The Outcome Based Education system includes all grades processing based on Course Learning Outcomes which is related to Graduates Learning Outcomes so that the outcomes of each student can be measured. This information system is developed by the Rapid Application Development method, and uses the Yii2 Framework with the concept of MVC (Model, View, Controller) where system programming is separated based on application components, such as: manipulating data, controllers, and user interfaces. The use of the RAD method and the Yii2 Framework in making applications can be done quickly and in a structured manner making it easier for future developments. The developed system has been successfully tested and applied in the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Civil Engineering Study Program and Mechanical Engineering Study Program, and planned to be implemented in all study programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University. This information system can be applied not only in the engineering faculty of Sebelas Maret University but also outside the university which requires an information system to measure the learning outcomes of graduates.

Hydroponics is transformation or water management which is used as a support to grow plants and where the roots of plants absorb the necessary nutrients. Hydroponic farming is very suitable to be developed in urban areas where the land is narrow enough to allow planting. Plants grown in hydroponics as well as conventional plants need adequate nutrition in terms of quantity and type. The purpose of this study is the creation of a realtime hydroponic monitoring system and the design of a cellular application as a display to show the results of monitoring. Among the parameters that must be taken into account are pH, TDS, EC, and temperature. The parameter value is sent to the Blynk application via an Internet connection. Parameter data can be monitored in real-time via the Blynk application and stored on a micro-SD card in tabular form. This device successfully measures pH, TDS, EC, solution temperature, temperature, and humidity, as well as the height of the solution with a level of accuracy of±5.83%. This device can connect to the Blynk application and send parameter values to the Blynk application and display it on the device’s LCD screen. Besides, this unit can control the solution pump and spray pump with automatic adjustments. The use of this device makes it possible to monitor the quality of a hydroponic solution and to control the pump continuously so that the hydroponic owner knows the condition of the hydroponic system.

This work addresses the design, fabrication, and implementation of an RF energy harvester 2.45 GHz using a compact rectenna. Our proposed rectenna focuses on development of an antenna array and rectifier circuit. The proposed rectenna is fabricated using FR4 substrate with its overall size of 12.24 cm × 18.17 cm with a thickness of 1.6 mm. The measured results show that a 10 dB bandwidth covering in 2374-2549 MHz (175 MHz) with center frequency 2415 MHz at S 11 of −18.2 dB. There is a bandwidth enhancement of 57.6% compared to the single antenna. Gaining of the antenna array is 6 dB that is double a single antenna gain. Spatial diversity technique in antenna array yields a bigger antenna gain thereby increasing the received power level. Experimental measurements are carried out that the rectenna is placed indoor (LOS) at 5 m and outdoor (NLOS) at 15 m. Furthermore, we also explore the rectifier circuit that to maximize the output voltage. The received RF power that transmitted from WiFi router is −55 dBm (0.15 nW/cm2) at 5 m and −59 dBm (0.06 nW/cm2) at 15 m, respectively. The output voltages are achieved that 1092.5 mV at a distance of 5 m (LOS) and 5.48 mV at a distance of 15 m (NLOS). The highest RF-DC conversion efficiency of our proposed rectenna reaches 77.6%. The rectenna potentially meets all requirements to power up the IoT applications.
