Sun Qing, Ph.D., is an Associate Research Professor at the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences. He previously served as a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. His research interests include crop model improvement, climate change impacts and adaptation in agriculture, and financial meteorology. He has published more than 60 papers, obtained 10 software copyrights and patents, and authored two monographs. He has led five research projects funded by the National Key R&D Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the China Meteorological Administration, and has contributed as a key team member to numerous national and international research projects, including major UNEP initiatives.
