Dr. Vytautas Bučinskas (male) received a Ph.D. degree in Technological Science and Mechanical Engineering from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 2002. In 2011, he received his PD Dr. degree following the habilitation procedure, and recently held the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Mechatronics, Robotics, and Digital Manufacturing at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Additionally, he leads the VGTU team in the H2020 Autodrive and AI4DI projects. He is a co-author of more than 50 scientific articles, two teaching books, and seven patents. He is a fellow of the Lithuanian Association of Engineering Industry (LINPRA) and the Lithuanian Association of Robotics. Currently, he is involved in research focused on the control of mechatronic and robotic systems, their dynamics, and fault diagnosis.
