Prof. Dr. Yarub Al-Douri is one of the Middle-East, North of Africa, Malaysia, and Southeast Asia’s most renowned scientists known for his contributions in nanotechnology and renewable energy. He has a Ph.D. in Materials Science. Al-Douri has initiated a Nanotechnology Engineering M.Sc. Program and a Nanocomputing Laboratory, the first in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, in addition to founding an Applied Materials Laboratory in Algeria. He is also the Head of the Department of Nanomaterials and the Department of International Networking and Collaboration, in addition to being the Secretary of the Department of Physics. He has received 71 national and international prizes and awards from USA, Austria, Japan, China, Iraq, UK, Malaysia, Italy, and others. He has more than 817 publications, and USD 5.1M in research grants. Al-Douri has notable citations = 9805, h-index = 52, and i10-index = 225. He is the Associate Editor of Nano-Micro Letters (Springer, Q1, IF= 23.655), the Editor-in-Chief of Experimental and Theoretical Nanotechnology, and the Editor-in-Chief of World Journal of Nanoscience and Engineering.
