This paper proposes a hybrid optimization method to optimize the topological structure of an offshore-wind-farm power collection system, in which the cable connection, cable selection and substation location are optimally designed. Firstly, the optimization model was formulated, which integrates cable investment, energy loss and line construction. Then, the Prim algorithm was used to initialize the population. A novel hybrid optimization, named PSAO, based on the merits of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) and aquila optimization (AO) algorithms, was presented for topological structure optimization, in which the searching characteristics between PSO and AO are exploited to intensify the searching capability. Lastly, the proposed PSAO method was validated with a real case. The results showed that compared with GA, AO and PSO algorithms, the PSAO algorithm reduced the total cost by 4.8%, 3.3% and 2.6%, respectively, while achieving better optimization efficiency.

To solve a general time-varying Sylvester equation, a novel integral recurrent neural network (IRNN) is designed and analyzed. This kind of recurrent neural networks is based on an error-integral design equation and does not need training in advance. The IRNN can achieve global convergence performance and strong robustness if odd-monotonically increasing activation functions [i.e., the linear, bipolar-sigmoid, power, or sigmoid-power activation functions (SP-AFs)] are applied. Specifically, if linear or bipolar-sigmoid activation functions are applied, the IRNN possess exponential convergence performance. The IRNN has finite-time convergence property by using power activation function. To obtain faster convergence performance and finite-time convergence property, an SP-AF is designed. Furthermore, by using the discretization method, the discrete IRNN model and its convergence analysis are also presented. Practical application to robot manipulator and computer simulation results with using different activation functions and design parameters have verified the effectiveness, stability, and reliability of the proposed IRNN.

This paper first designed the overall scheme of a wireless-based intelligent environment monitoring system; this system is comprised of the following four parts: server part, client part, slave computer part, and master computer part. The master computer is equipped with a wireless transmission module and an LCD module. Slave computers are equipped with temperature-humidity sensing modules and wireless transmission modules. The server side has two major interfaces: data display and server establishment. An Android phone as the client can realize the communication between the mobile APP and server through network communication to obtain environmental data in real time. The hardware part of the system consists of wireless transmission module, temperature and humidity module, smoke module, lighting module, flame module, and LCD module. The software implementation part mainly includes the design and implementation of serial communication, the design and implementation of wireless communication, the design and implementation of collection of data acquisition in each sensor module, and the design and implementation of network communication as well as the design and implementation of display unit. With the cooperation of these four parts, we can automatically sense and control the state of the environment to realize human-computer interaction.

SUMMARY: In order to solve joint-angle drift problem of dual redundant manipulators at acceleration-level, an acceleration-level tri-criteria optimization motion planning (ALTC-OMP) scheme is proposed, which combines the minimum acceleration norm, repetitive motion planning, and infinity-norm acceleration minimization solutions via weighting factor. This scheme can resolve the joint-angle drift problem of dual redundant manipulators which will arise in single criteria or bi-criteria scheme. In addition, the proposed scheme considers joint-velocity joint-acceleration physical limits. The proposed scheme can not only guarantee joint-velocity and joint-acceleration within their physical limits, but also ensure that final joint-velocity and joint-acceleration are near to zero. This scheme is realized by dual redundant manipulators which consist of left and right manipulators. In order to ensure the coordinated operation of manipulators, two motion planning problems are reformulated as two general quadratic program (QP) problems and further unified into one standard QP problem, which is solved by a simplified linear-variational-inequalities-based primal-dual neural network at the acceleration-level. Computer-simulation results based on dual PUMA560 redundant manipulators further demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed ALTC-OMP scheme to resolve joint-angle drift problem arising in the dual redundant manipulators.

Online reviews have increasingly become a very important resource before making a purchasing decisions. Unfortunately, malicious sellers try to game the system by hiring a person or team (which is called spammers) to fabricate fake reviews to improve their reputation.Existing methods mainly take the problem as a general binary classification or focus on some heuristic rules. However, supervised learning methods relies heavily on a large number of labeled examples of deceptive and truthful opinions by domain experts, and most of features mentioned in the heuristic strategy ignore the characteristic of the group organization among spammers. In this paper, an effective method of identifying opinion spammers is proposed. Firstly, suspected spammers are detected by means of unsupervised learning based on reviewer’s reputation. We believe that the reviewer’s reputation has a direct relation with the quality of reviews. Generally, review written by user with lower reputation, shows lower quality and higher possibility to be fake. Therefore, the model assigns reputation score to each reviewer wherein the content based factors and activeness of reviewers are employed efficiently. On basis of all suspected spammers, k-center clustering algorithm is performed to further spot the spammers based on the observation of burst of review release time. Experimental results on Amazon’s dataset are encouraging and indicate that our approach poses high accuracy and recall, and good performance is achieved.

In order to remedy the position deviation of the joint-angles and ensure the smooth motion trajectory of the end-effector at velocity-level, a velocity-level tri-criteria optimization (VLTCO) scheme of redundant manipulators is proposed. The proposed VLTCO scheme combine the minimum velocity norm (MVN), the repetitive motion planning (RMP), infinity norm velocity minimization (INVM) through the weighting factors, which guarantees the joint-velocity to be near zero after the redundant manipulators finishing task. At the same time, the scheme consider the joint-angle and joint-velocity physical limits, which can keep the joint-angle and the joint-velocity within their given range and prevent the occurrence of high joint-velocity during the task duration. Finally, the VLTCO scheme is reformulated as one general quadratic program (QP) problem. The QP problem is then solved by a linear-variational-inequalities-based primaldual neural network solver (LVI-PDNN). The validity and advantages of VLTCO scheme are substantiated by simulation results and physical experiment based on the JACO2 redundant manipulator.
