Dr. Yusuf Wibisono is currently an Associate Professor of Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Brawijaya, Indonesia. He graduated from the University of Twente, the Netherlands, and conducted his Ph.D. research work in the joint research program of the Dutch Water Sector (BTO) at the University of Twente, the KWR Watercycle Research Institute, and TTIW Wetsus, a center of excellence for sustainable water technology. Dr. Wibisono is involved in education and research, mostly in membrane technology and processes, as well as in the development of biomaterials. Dr. Wibisono has published numerous journal articles, two books, and three book chapters with Spinger and Elsevier. For his research achievement, Dr. Wibisono was also awarded "Best Researcher" from the Kurita Water and Environment Foundation, Japan, in 2018.
